Mr. Xia Kunbao, Director and Consultant of ACEF, attended the 19th session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD-19) as an expert of the UNEP, and had in-depth exchanges with members of the Chinese delegations and representatives of relevant countries. The issue of how to effectively use the earth’s resources was discussed in-depth in the meeting, and other topics including mining, waste, transportation, and sustainable production and consumption were also involved. The results of the discussions were put forward as important recommendations at the “United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20” held in 2012.
